***This is a "Memories Collection" travelogue***

Christmas at Disneyland is always magical. It's lit up all year 'round, but during the holidays, the extra sparkle is spectacular. Not only that, but you can even catch a little sudsy "snowfall" on Main Street at the end of the night.

One thing that everyone MUST see during a holiday visit to Disneyland is "it's a small world." It's like a Christmas tree on steroids...without the green pine needles. (You don't really have to ride the ride, just a good look at the outside is worth it.) There are so many lights, it's positively blinding. Just don't be foolish enough to go during the two-week holiday break that kids get off from school. Don't. You can't even walk down to that end of the park. Trust me.

I also like the decorations of New Orleans Square. The bright blue and purple and other jewel-toned orbs criss-cross the path. It's really quite pretty.

Other than "it's a small world," the only important holiday ride is, of course, Haunted Mansion Holiday. It's a must. The good news is that it is up from Halloween time on, so it's not so difficult to get on.
