In the morning, MIL and I went antique shopping in this one area. (The rest of the gang--DH, DD, SS, & FIL--went to Stone Mountain during the same time.) The stores were spread apart, and it was a bit much to walk in the heat. We found a McDonald's to get some iced tea to cool down. I got a kick out of the whole sweet tea thing. Course, I didn't want mine sweetened. They didn't really understand that.

Had lunch at the Peachtree Cafe in Buckhead.

Spent time around downtown, shopping at the Atlanta Underground. Tasted some Georgia wine at the Habersham Vineyards & Winery Store there. I tasted some pecan pralines there at a sweet shop...my absolute favorite sweet on the planet now.

Had dinner at the Sun Dial located atop the Westin Peachetree Plaza Hotel. Up, up, up! You get the most amazing view of the city from there.
