When we got to the Vatican area, DH had to make a phone call, so I went into the Vatican store (near the left entrance to St. Peter's Square). That place was huge. Very Disney-like with its souvenirs.

We then went into the square. We decided to get in line for St. Peter's Basilica. We didn't have time to do everything, so we will just have to do the Sistine Chapel and the Vatican Museum another time. The line really didn't take that long. The cathedral is just amazing and VERY opulent; the art, architecture and grandeur were impressive to say the least.
