This is going to be a rather short entry, because today was a really lazy day. We did manage to get out to the Franprix to get some food--more bread, cheese, juicy nectarines, etc. We went to a different Franprix this time, and we liked this one much better than the first one.

We came home and the Girl took over the computer and I promptly fell asleep. I woke, I slept, I woke, I slept...all day long. It was positively sinful how slothful we were being, but that's what vacations are for, right?

At about 8 pm I tried cooking the tart Provencal we had purchased, but to no avail. These stupid microwave/mini ovens they have here are positively useless. Or, rather, I'm useless when it comes to figuring out how to work the darned things. We never could get the tart to cook all the way through. We ate the edges and then had pain au chocolat for dessert. :) That made things much better!

After that we watched an American cop show that was subtitled in French, i.e. we could follow it much better than the French shows. Prior to that we had watched French dubbed, "So You Think You Can Dance"--a show I've never watched in my life. We also watched a French version of Family Feud that was hilarious--way better than the boring American version.

Then we went to bed, and believe it or not...I slept ALL night long. Guess I needed to catch up on some sleep. Paris is a lovely place to do that. :)
