Drove from San Diego to my parents' house in the central valley. Stayed the night there.

It was really cold this year!
Day 3 (Sat, Dec 21, 1996)
Had our big Christmas dinner with my whole, huge family. Plus we celebrated my mom's birthday. Played in the snow.
Day 4 (Sun, Dec 22, 1996)
Uh, oh! Got snowed in. Some guy helped clear the road so we could get the cars out to the main road. Of course, most of my family freaked out. DH and I thought it was cool. :)
Drove back to my parents' house to stay the night.
Day 5 (Mon, Dec 23, 1996)
Drove the looooong drive back to San Diego.
