I really don't like to be negative, but sorry, this just is not a pretty place. We stopped here on our way back from Lake Las Vegas for a pee pee break. Where we stopped, there was a gas station and a boarded up restaurant. Even our dog refused to pee there.

There was trash all over the ground, which consisted of dust, sand, broken asphault, tumble weeds, and well, more trash.

Had I known that Barstow was only 10 more miles down the road...I would have held it. :)

Here are some interesting facts about Yermo, located in the Mojave Desert:

1. Population--4200 people.
2. There is a ghost town there--Calico Ghost Town.
3. Del Taco was founded there.

Yep, Yermo.
