I went to bed early last night, but I still had a hard time getting up. I even hit the snooze on the alarm. I went down to a yummy breakfast. They bake their bread-type things right there. Today they had a flat, round red bean-filled goodie and a roll that faintly tasted of coconut. Best breakfast yet!

Class went well. It's hard to believe that tomorrow will be my last day (the 10th) with my student. It did go by really fast.

I got a message on WeChat from Ada saying that she had arrived. She has some things to do and will come by the school tomorrow. Yay! We will plan our trip to Xi'an.

Scott saw me and joined me at lunch. We talked about Xi'an and our experiences seeing exhibits of the terracotta warriors. Lucy came over and asked Scott about what to do for a cough. Wait, I need that too! He gave directions for the office of the campus doctor. There's a campus doctor?

Lucy, her TA, who is Chinese, and I went over to the doctor's office, but no one was there. Scott said she might not be there because it's summer time. Sigh. So we decided to go to a pharmacy. Griffin, the TA, asked the guard at the gate where a pharmacy is, and there's one just down the street by the grocery stores. They have a white sign with a green character.

We went in and Griffin described the symptoms of the infamous "Beijing Cough." The pharmacist gave us boxes of capsules of I have no idea what. We have to take four capsules three times a day after each meal. Wish me luck (and Lucy too!). She's leaving tonight for her camp.

For me, right now...it's time for a nap...
