Today was the first day I didn't want to get up. I just didn't want to. But I did. I set my alarm for 7:00 am every day.

Today I decided to go down for breakfast; I was hungry. They had stuffed dough ball thingies. I had one that was filled with some sort of green vegetable and some sort of meat. It was pretty good.

I had a successful class that ended at 11:30. So I dropped my stuff off in my room and then went to lunch.

Then I went back to my room and took a nap until I was awakened by people coming in my room at 3:30. I have a new roommate, Sarah, who is from Korea.

I read for awhile while she unpacked and got settled in. Tania lent me the autobiography of Richard Branson, and I started reading it last night. It's quite interesting.

Sarah and I then went down to dinner together at 5:00. Dinner is so early here; they only serve from 5:00 to 6:00. Scott, whom I met earlier, saw me and joined us. They kicked us out at 6:00.

He took us over to an underground grocery store, near the little one I had gone to before. At 8:00 he's going to show us the mall...and STARBUCKS!! :)

The meals at the cafeteria range in price from 6.50 to 11.00 RMB, at least so far. My card already had money on it, so I haven't had to buy my meals yet, or my shower. Eventually, though, I think I will have to put more money on my card. I'll cross that bridge when I get to it though.

It has been a really nice day today. It's the first time I've seen blue sky. The temperature has been fairly pleasant as well. There's a slight breeze, that makes it seem a little cooler than it is. I'm guessing the temp is around 85 F, but I really don't know for sure. I'll take it though. The humidity was very low today.

Well Sarah and I looked for Scott for nearly 30 minutes and never found him, so we went back to our room.

I read the rest of the evening until bedtime. I've been making great progress on Richard Branson's autobiography. My roommate stayed up quite a bit later on her computer, but I went to sleep pretty well.
