We arrived at the end of one concourse, too far to take the shuttle system, and had to walk to another terminal. Fortunately, we a few moments to spare. We got down to our gate, and then decided to grab lunch.
MickeyDs was right there, so that's what we had. DS had chicken nuggets and a shake, I just had a small hamburger. Our wait wasn't too bad, and, thankfully, there were no gate changes or delays. We boarded the small plane and had a row of three seats for the two of us. The plane was sparsely populated.
DH was told on the phone the day before, that they weren't sure they'd be able to get us out from Chicago...like the plane was fully booked or something. I don't think United knew what they were doing in any way shape or form.
Anyway, DS sat in the single seat, and I had two seats to myself. We both snoozed. Until, that is, we were starting our descent. We were going through a storm. Turbulence. Lightning. Rain.
We had finally gotten to Quebec, but would we be able to land?
