Met with the architect at 4:10 pm and walked to the bank so she could introduce me to her banker, who happens to be her boyfriend's friend. Our appointment was at 4:30 pm. In France, it's not *what* you know, but *who* you know.

It was fairly formal with lots of handshaking and an introduction to the the manager (I think). The banker only spoke minimal English, and with my basic French, we needed the architect to sometimes translate.

Had dinner at Le France...Saucisse de Porc and a glass of Vin Rouge, all for €10.
