Went into AAA to get my International Driver's License since I will have a rental car during the trip. It will be the first time I've driven in a foreign country. Yikes!

Sadly, my husband did not tell me I'd have to have my picture taken in order to get the license, and I looked like crap. Must be the unwritten law of driver's license photos...you look horrible no matter what!

An international driver's license is not required by the rental company, but is good to have. It is valid for one year.
