I tutored this morning after dragging my butt out of bed. It wasn't easy. I'm tired. The process of searching for a property overseas and what lies ahead has been and is stressful. I'm tired. I'm also exceedingly excited.

My mind can't decide which to be: nervous or elated.

I'm at an airport hotel so it wouldn't be such a heinous commute for a 7:00 am flight tomorrow. As it is, I'll have to get up at 4:00 am to catch the 5:00 am shuttle to the terminal at LAX. Since I'm flying to JFK first, I really don't need to be at the airport two hours early, but I'd rather be early than late.

The kids, my husband and I drove to the hotel so I could check in. The reception guy looked at the four of us and asked, "Is one bed going to be ok?" LOL. Kinda funny. "Oh, yeah, we're going out to dinner then they'll drop me off."

We drove into Beverly Hills, down Rodeo Dr, and in and around the hills to look at the beautiful mansions. We passed by several tour buses and ladies on the side of the road selling Maps to the Stars Homes. We drove down Sunset Blvd to Highland and then down Highland to get to the restaurant, Osteria Mozza, one of my favorite restaurants. It's one of Mario Batali's restaurants. The food is unbelievably good. We had a wonderful dinner.

Now I'm back at the hotel, getting ready to go to bed soon, anticipating an early morning, anxiously awaiting arrival in Paris, another flight to Rodez, another night, and finally a look at the properties in person...
