We've decided to buy a place in France. We already have plane tickets for this fall for 3 months, and now we've decided...why not buy a place before then and just stay there. Ha-ha-ha! We're delusional, I think. I hope not, but it's not going to be easy.

I've been looking at properties over the last week or so, and it's amazing what you can buy for under 100,000 euros. Of course, there's going to be some renovation involved. Hopefully, we can find something that needs not so much renovating as updating and modernizing.

It's not going to be easy to find just the right place that's also affordable.
