Stephansdom is a cathedral in the center of Vienna. Interestingly, in a vault beneath the main altar lies urns containing the entrails of some of the Habsburgs. Above the main entrance are two Heathen Towers and a Giants' Doorway, both of which used to be a part of an earlier heathen shrine. There is also the symbol of the Austrian Resistance Movement carved upon the front facade: O5.

Unfortunately, we were all too worn out to go back out and into town to go to the Mass. We stayed in and watched TV together. The first show was some German Christmas story (modern). Then there was a German version of America's Funniest Home Videos that was absolutely hilarious.

Although we missed out on Midnight Mass at a beautiful cathedral, we enjoyed just hanging out together, cozy and warm, eating Stollen and drinking hot tea.
