Well, we had a fairly leisurely morning which was nice. We had a great breakfast at the hotel, which was probably the one nice thing about this Embassy Suites (otherwise, it was just so-so). We saw the guy we had talked to on the shuttle from the airport. He's a pilot for private jets. Nice guy. We all went up after eating, showered and got packed up.

We were on the shuttle for the airport at 11:30. The shuttle leaves every half hour, so we could have gotten on the next one, but we were ready to go. Got out bags checked (we already had our boarding passes), and then got to the Admiral's Club, which is where I am now.

So now we're just hanging out to board. Still another hour to go...

As far as boarding and all that, everything went as expected except that we left a little late. The flight itself was pretty bad. A devil in diapers was on board a couple rows back. The kid would NOT shut up, screamed all night long. The stupid parents didn't do a damned thing to quiet that pint-sized monster. Pacifier? Toys? Food? Get up and walk around with the child? Nope, they did NOTHING. I have no patience for parents like that. NONE.

There should be some sort of warning for other people on flights when it comes to imbeciles like that...a big tattoo on the parents' foreheads or something (an international symbol that means: I don't know how to control my children). Then at least the rest of us could prepare and take two Xanax instead of the usual one before trying to get some sleep on a longhaul overnight flight. Yeah, I'm still pissed off.

I really don't like flying. Well, with other people any way...
