The unfinished, modern-style cathedral by Antoni Gaudi is definitely interesting to see. It was one of the places I most wanted to visit in Barcelona. My family and I took the train part of the way and walked the rest of the way there. It was a nice walk, and we were able to see some other beautiful buildings along the way.
However, once we got to Plaça de la Sagrada Familia, we were a bit disappointed though. Tour buses were dropping off their passengers in droves, stalls were set up across the street from the cathedral selling crap, and the entrance fee to tour the incomplete building was rather steep. We just weren't in the mood for the chaos.
I took some pictures and we were on our way to find a restaurant for lunch.
