Where I stayed
In the book, this is listed as "one of Europe's best single-artist museums." I thought it was ok, but then I'm not an afficionado of Toulouse-Lautrec. Certainly, I recognized many of the works, and I enjoyed seeing them in person. I was also surprised to see the sheer size of some of the pieces. Some of them were downright ugly though.
The museum itself was much smaller than I expected. But it is in a beautiful building, the Palais de la Berbie which was built as a bishop's residence in 1265. The author lists the entrance fee as 4 euros, but it is now 5 euros.
