OK, this is one of those entries in the book that I just kind of shake my head and go, "why"? Of all the wonderful places (and other astonishing restaurants) in the world, I really don't know why the author would take up a spot with Legal Sea Foods.

Now, I don't have anything against the place, it's just that I can think of many other places I'd rather see in the book. I ate there many years ago with my husband, and to be honest, I don't remember it that well (i.e. it wasn't that memorable).

My DH used to live in Boston, so I asked him why it would be included in the book. He did say at one time it was the place to go, sort of an iconic kind of place, but not so much any more, and not for quite some time.

I recall having a pleasant dinner there, but that's all I can really say on the matter.
