"Britain's Finest Georgian City"
Our trip to Bath (with our children this time) was also part of a tour, again with Evan Evans Tours. We really only had time to go to the Roman Baths, which was quite something. I don't regret doing it at all, and the kids really enjoyed it also. This truly was ancient history I was walking on and around, and I was in awe.
I do wish we had had more time to explore the town though. I have seen a travel show about it, and I just know it's worth visiting. So, here again, I would like to go back and spend more time, stay a night or two (and NOT be a part of a tour group so I can explore at will).
P.S. The author includes Ston Easton Park with Bath in the listing. It sounds like it is an 18th century mansion turned restaurant. Next time. :)
