Where I stayed
Rental Apartment
We got up late and had our usual breakfast. We went to the Monoprix for lunch and dinner food.
For lunch we had mushroom soup and brioche bread.
Then we went out. We looked for Tati on Rue du Republique but couldn't find it. So we went to the Jardin du Luxembourg. It's really beautiful. Lots of trees with gorgeous blooming flowers all around.
We went to the "pond" and the kids rented sailboats that you push across the water with sticks (2 Eur per 1/2 hr). They had SO much fun. I sat on a chair in the shade and watched them play and laugh.
We walked around some more and saw an area for bee hives. It looks as though its been used that way for centuries. After that, the kids decided to use some of their remaining spending money to go into the playground. I stayed on the outside and watched them. They had a lot of fun and played for a very long time. DD even met a French friend from the south of France there, and they are pen pals now.
A little building behind the playground is where you can watch a marionette show. The kids weren't interested though. It is 4.40 Eur to get in. A guy would go out with a bell and ring it to get people to come in to see the show.
We took the RER and Metro back home, where we had rabbit and pan-roasted fingerling potatoes with herbs de Provence for dinner. Yumm! We spent the rest of the evening just relaxing.

Rabbit Provencal
You seem to be spending an awful lot of time in Monoprix these days. Who cooked the rabbit?
Re: Rabbit Provencal
We DID spend a lot of time at the Monoprix! But, hey, when in Rome (or Paris)...
I cooked the rabbit, of course!
