Where I stayed
We went shopping at the Goncourt Monoprix; it's closer, only about a block and a half away. We had "sandwiches" of jambon cru, cheese, mustard, and cornichons for lunch.
I had made a copy of a 90-minute walk along the canal from a guidebook before I left, so we decided to do that. It was quite warm, so we didn't do the whole walk, but we saw a good bit of the canal.
We found a park on our way back, so the kids played at the playground for quite some time. They really had fun.
I made dinner at home (gnocchi). Afterwards we went out and walked around some more. We stopped at the park on top of the canal where some people were playing Boules (I think the other term for it is Patanque?). It is similar to Bocci Ball. Anyway, there were a couple different games going on, and they really get into it. And surprisingly, it was youngish people playing...I had thought it was an old Frenchman's game. LOL
We walked around a little more, then called it a day.
