All parents of young kids reach the stage where they become taxi shuttle services for their many social activities. Our two are now both playing competitive team sports and this has ramped up the time spent transporting them to games. So far they are both very into it though.

Millie has just had her first practice on Saturday for netball which starts competitively next week. She put everything into it and even took a netball to the face resulting in a nosebleed. Still she ploughed on through the two back to back games, ending up in the warm sun with a face that you could fry eggs on.

Dylan is playing for Petone Rovers 7th Grade and has had two games so far, a 1-2 defeat and a 2-0 victory. He is incredibly chuffed with his blue kit. I am coaching the team and finding the games really exciting, willing them on to win!

So, for the foreseeable future we will be busy on Saturdays, great fun though.
