A lovely hot sunny day in Wellington so we ventured into town to take a look at the annual dragon boat racing.

Looks like day two of the contest won't be happening due to New Zealand being on a tsunami alert as a result of the earthquake in Chile. Better to be safe than sorry I suppose and with the Tsunami alert after the Samoa earthquake lots of rubberneckers turned up along the east coast to see what a tsunami might look like!
