This morning I was excited to wake up and ride my bike to yoga again.  It is about a 1.5 mile ride on the road to get to the Rip Jack Inn where the studio is.  When I arrive it is great to see that it is Dori, the same teacher again.  She was fantastic the first time so I am looking forward to it.  We have a great class with many poses I have never done before, but when it is over I am completely relaxed and have sweated off some calories for sure.

I head over to Frijoles Loco to pay for my surf lesson, then I head back down the road to Casa Cameleon.  I stop off for my daily breakfast and basic Spanish with Maria.

Today I head over to Tamarindo to go to the bank and market.  You have to cross the river that feeds into the ocean by ferry because of the crocodiles and current.  Once I get over, Tamarindo is a completely different experience from Playa Grande.  It is full of people and the tourist spot for surfing.  Playa Grande is much more of a remote village where it's quiet and you get to know the locals.

I meet a girl from Norway on the way to the bank.  I get to the bank, access my cash, then have a smoothie at a local stand.  It is delicious.  I spend some time riding around just to see all the action since Playa Grande is so quiet.  I never make my way to the grocery store, but manage to stop off at Witch's Rock for the view and my favorite local beer.

I catch the boat back over and ride my bike through the trail which leads back home.  Later I meet Mary out for some more surfing.  Today, a local guy, Heinz has been generous enough to loan me a board.  It turns out to be the best one I've used so far and I get up on at least a few waves.  It is unbelievably beautiful watching the sunset while  sitting in the middle of the ocean on a surfboard.  Truly a peaceful way to end the day and everyone seems to do it here.

Tonight, my dinner consists of some cashews, a banana and some pear juice.  Not quite a feast.

Later that evening, I head over to Bula Bula to gather for a the evening with the three amigos and Michelle from Canada and also a couple who has just arrived from New Jersey.  Once again, I feel like the locals are now among my friends.
