Today I woke up again refreshed from one of the most peaceful nights of sleep ever.  My plan had been to take my bike ride over to yoga, but after last night I was so completely relaxed there was no way I was getting up at 7am, so I woke up naturally around 9am.  I seem to be getting more and more tired from the active week, but it is a good tired, not a mental tired.

I looked forward to my morning walk over to Bula Bula where I would be once again greeted by Maria's smiling face.  I had another amazing breakfast which was an open faced breakfast sandwich with toast, bacon, egg, tomato and cheese.  I'm not sure if it was because of the scarcity of food I have had this week but it was the best thing I've ever tasted.  Maria laughs and helps me again with some basic Spanish.

Today, my friend Mary from Boston is moving into the place where I am staying.  Probably the best thing about this whole trip has been the making of new friends almost around every corner.  At home in America, I am often frustrated by how busy everyone is and even those who are your friends barely seem to have time for each other.  Here, because it is such a different way of life and so many people are here from around the world, it has been exciting to make one friend after another from other places.  Mary and I have become travel buddies so it is nice to have her come in.

After breakfast I go back to Casa Camaleon and I pass Mary on the road coming back from the small market in the area.  It's great to see another familiar face.

Later in the afternoon, we go out for another round of surfing.  My body is so tired and spent from using the different muscles, but it is very addictive.  We have learned that the best time to go out is high tide, usually between 3-5.

Tonight, is my first experience with a heavy rain in Costa Rica.  It is hard to describe the peace and solitude of sitting alone in another country while the rain is coming down in Central America.

I use the time to try to do some writing and realize that I am totally at peace being on my own.
