Getting off that plane felt really good. I was glad I didn't have to go on a plane for another month! We rode down a big escalator into a big central area, and hopped onto a metro train.
The metro train was really cool! At one point, it zipped by a bunch of screens that formed a short video clip of Heidi giving you a kiss. Also, on either end of the train, were big windows where you could see the whole tunnel zooming by.
We got off at the next stop and went through customs, then headed to the train station, to catch a train to Lucerne, where we stayed for that night. It took a long time for the train to get there, so my dad and I tried to find an ATM to exchange for some Swiss Francs. It took us a while to find one, but we did find a pretzel stand called Brezel König. We got a pretzel (or "brezel", in German) with cheese on it. It was really good mainly because this is the birth area of pretzels!).
We went back to the train tracks, and waited for the train some more. Eventually, it came. What was cool about the train was that it had two floors on it. We went up on the top floor. We rode the train past central Zürich and on to Lucerne.
