We are now just about 100kms from Sydney and staying on the central coast of NSW. Norah head is a small seaside village with great acces to surf beaches as well as the Lakes.
We drove down to The Entrance which is a bigger holiday centre and watched the pelican feeding in the afternoon. About 60 pelicans arrived and it was quite a spectacle. Local volunteers come each day to feed the pelicans and share their knowledge with the visitors. They also take the opportunity to check the pelicans and found one with a fish hook stuck in it's wing that needed removal.
Today we drove to Gosford and arrived just as evry child in the area swarmed the street dressed up for Halloween- great to see such participation. They had to visit a number of shops and get a passport stamped. After this we drove around the coast back to Norah head- magnificent views and more places to return to.
Angela and Adrian fly into Sydney late tonight and we head there tomorrow.
