We left Myrtle hoping to avoid the "Severe Thunderstom" warnings. We beat the storms for awhile but by 9:00 P.M. they had caught up with us. Since we never got to even wash the salt and sand off we decided to hook up at a camp in Cuttrick Sound NC. About 20 miles from the border of NC/VA. It turned out to be worth it because of the breathtaking scenery. About 7 miles inland but by the ocean once again you see farm land interspersed with nice water front homes, marshes, wild life fishing and open spaces. Next morning weather is great and we decide to skip Virginia beach and head straight into Williamsburg VA. Hope to soak in some revolutionary history. Tomorrow we make the trek into Cherry Hill RV park we expect to be in DC area a week to service the RV and take in the sights.
