I can hardly beleive where time has gone. We are back in Burlington and life is back to almost the way it was before we left. but not really. So much has changed, in my heart and in my mind. Home is not our house, home is my family, my heart, my love. I am so incredibly blessed with what I have. Such incredible Love and warmth surrounds me and I get goosebumps just thinking about my family. How did I get so lucky.
Yes we work too much, yes we voulnteer too much, yes we do too many activities, but at the end of the day we have eachother and we will always have the memories we created this summer. When we see someone lonely, we will know to reach out to them, when we see someone hungry we know we will share our food and when someone is in need we will hold their hand. If there was one thing I took away from this journey it was Love. Love is all encompassing, it is universal with out language or borders. Yes it is easy to forget with all the things going wrong in the world and with news and with news papers, but if we wake up ech morning and try to see the good and we try to see the beauty I guarantee your life will change. Louise Armstrong was right...I think to my self , what a wonderful world.
