Well, after searching throughout Thailand for a good place to just hang out for a while, I stumbled upon Lamai Beach in Koh Samui. This place is perfect. Nice sandy beach, clear water that is just the right temperature for swimming, and a great hotel that comes with free use of beach chairs. I have a fridge, so I can actually buy groceries and make my own food, a welcome change to constantly eating out all the time. My recent big purchase was a $5 raft, which will greatly enhance my beach going experience. Yep! Life is good! I think I will stay here for a month or so...
