We initially wanted to stay at Karumba but was advised that unless we had a boat there wasn't alot to do there, so we ended up in Normanton. It's a great campground and we met some great people here and had fun exploring the town and nearby area. We spent a few hours at Karumba which for us was plenty, but it certainly looked like a boaties paradise. We got some prawns for $12/kilo and some barra, all of which is in plentiful supply up here. Normanton had a great library and an interesting town walk & some good pubs. We spotted a croc at a nearby creek- the 6th one so far. It was really hot during the day and cool at night. The campground had a spa sourced from the artesian basin and it is so hot to get into. Molly loved it.
