On the advice of Chris and Keith, who said I looked tired and worn out in my photos, I decided upon two rest or 'do nothing' days!

To be honest I felt tired and had no energy what so ever, so I needed to recharge the batteries and as I had a room to myself I managed to sleep in on Wednesday to after 11am! Must have needed the sleep hey?

I just want to point out that I'm in a private room as all the dorms are full (with tree planters) and therefore Greg put me in a room on my own for the same price. Bonus.

So after Wednesdays lazy start I managed to skype Ben, Zoe and baby Jacob and have a good catch-up. Jacob you are growing and developing loads. Think you must have ants in your nappy too, as you didn't sit still once. I even got a warning from my computer that your shrieks of joy and excitement were too loud.

Now as it was a sizzler outside I decided that I should pop out somewhere, so I headed across to the Old Government House to get my tour that I missed out on the day before. Followed by one of the trails along The Green, across Bill Thorpe Walking Bridge to the visitor centre on the north shore and back to the hostel via the Lincoln trail. It was too warm to be walking really, but a slow pace and a bottle of water and it was all good.

That night was game seven of the Stanley Cup and the decider. Well less said the better... Vancouver lost. I went into town with Chris and Dylan to watch the game in a bar. Dylan had driven to Boston to see the previous game to support Vancouver and well took it all very seriously.

So Thursday was another sizzler and this time I stayed put at the hostel sitting in the sun and then the shade planning out my next stage of my trip.

I have now been travelling for a month, which seems to have flown by. At this rate it will all happen in a blink of an eye and I'll be home again. Slow down time please.
