Lake Ohau is a desolate lake village - well not even a village, there isn't anything other than two resorts (extremely far from each other) nestled in the valley of a stunning mountain range, overlooking Lake Ohau with Mount Cook in view out in the distance. Stunning scenery, I walked around the shore for a while in the afternoon and then settled down on the deck with a drink, my journal and the sunset. Finally a relaxing afternoon!
