Today may have been an example of a perfect Saturday. It was actually a tease..It was the most beautiful day, and I had to leave Sydney this afternoon. I was supposed to go out on a yacht for the day with Janelle and some of her colleuges but it became to difficult with it being my last day. Instead I took Matts offer to bounce around Sydney with him. Matt picked me up with my bags at 10am and we started north along the coast. What a Gorgeous drive. The shoreline of Sydney isn't like I had seen yet. As I said earlier, it reminded me of San Diego - well, not quite anymore. It was shear cliffs dropping off into the ocean, waves crashing on rocks below and beautiful beach inlets filled with pristine sand. One after another, just repeating themselves. Across the street were rolling mountians dotted with beautiful homes overlooking the ocean. I definitely went through my "hmmm, I could live here" moment! We drove north a little over an hour to a beach town, Palm Beach. We walked along the water and climbed up on some rocks out on a point in the ocean. Such a great view, we sat for another hour or so taking it all in. It amazes me that the beaches aren't more crowed! There were only a few families along the sandy area and a few people diving off the rocks near us or sunning themselves. Unfortunetly that's about all the time I had left, so Matt took me for a nice lunch and dropped me back at the airport. (and that's it! So no reading into this!!) :)
