So, it seemed to take a lifetime to get here from Zagreb, but I had 3 days making it worth it... I did all the typical things people do in Budapest. Walk the old town, the Chain Bridge, the Royal Palace, Parliment, eat Goulash and Boar Stew. I even went to the Opera last night. Lady MacBeth. Longest theatrical performance I have ever seen, over 3 hours! But good. I even ran from a few rent-a-cop style police within the last two days - yet I feel like it has been relatively mellow here. Maybe I'm spoiled, but I wasn't overly impressed with Budapest. Don't get me wrong, it's a beautiful city. But the old town is so over run with tourists, there doesn't seem to be much character left. It's all a little to sterile for my taste. It was hard not to compare this to Prague, which was SO much better. Although, I was there 4 years ago - before it was a new disneyland as well. SO, with that in mind, I decided to use today (20th) as a day to shop. :) Now, I have been SOOO good about this. (Mostly) And I couldn't find Anything!!! Very disappointing actually. But, I'm ok with it. It just means I can shop in Turkey. :)

On an odd side note - for those that will argue how great buda is, I just had a conversation with a girl from New Zealand and a couple from Berlin that all agreed! Buda isn't necessarily all that's it's talked up to be! Well, I'm off to the Mediterranean. I'm assuming from here on out there will be very few things that remind me of home.
