Where I stayed
Cape Range National Park

Onto Cape Range National Park, another area abundant with wildlife, we camped at Lakeside, another brilliant snorkelling spot in Ningaloo Reef, and not a bad spot to spend the day.

The ex-YOC (Young Ornithologist Club - I was very cool) member in me seriously enjoyed a visit to Mangrove Bay hide, and especially the drive back, surrounded by countless kangaroos, birds of prey, echidnas and one quite scary feral cat.

The following day we were treated to a completely perfect display of marine beauty; stunning coral, and fantastic fish at Turquoise Bay and Oyster Stacks.

A short break from the sea at Mandu Mandu Gorge where we saw rock wallabies and brilliant views of the park.

You stole our retirement route!!!!!
Great to be reading about your australian adventures and basil's endurance, glad to see you keep up the family tradition of always naming your car. They do become part of the family.
Thanks for the early saturday phone calls we look forward to them, great way to start the weekend.
