Arrived in Battambang with the view to get the pictureque boat to Siem Reap. On first sight of the river this seemed quite an unlikely option. There were people walking, ankle deep straight up the middle.

Of course, it was still going ahead "yes, yes, yes, no problem sir!" A little bit a gentle questioning and the truth was revield; that in fact you drive (truck!) for a few hours out of Battambang jump on the "wooden boat" and get dropped off "just outside" Siem Reap. All this for a mere $15 each.

We sought advice and went with the $5 bus option. On booking the bus we were warned; "Yes, not a nice bus, not like a good bus, and also very bumby. I think is better to tell you that now, so you expect not too good." I'm so excited...but at least Angkor Wat awaits!

I am really starting to dislike you two!
I am so upset as you seem to be having quite possibly the most exciting travels ever, whilst I feel trapped in a land of hormonal school girls with punches like Ali and glass jaws like paddy! Only today did I lift one girl from another to see blood all over the floor and was hit by the sudden realisation that an ambulance was most certainly a necessity.
Your video has been the highlight of my teaching career and the rest of my staff agree that we would all take the hit of the fan to be with you guys right now.
Stay safe, write loads and keep posting pretty pictures xx xx (two each as its been a while)
