Our Air Canada flight stopped at Heathrow Airport in London where we spent a couple of hours browsing the airport shops and eating lunch. Britain is very expensive and the pound is currently very strong. Two sandwiches and fries, a coke and a coffee cost us about $50 CDN! Yikes! That's about twice what it would have cost at an airport in Canada!
