It rained buckets most of yesterday, so we made a beeline back to Wandoora, Digby and Nicki's farm. On the way, we drove through the Stirling Range. They're very small mountains but, once again, the scenery was beautiful. Not that we could see alot through the downpour . . . .

Martin has adjusted well to driving on the left (though a sticker on the dash reminds the driver in both English and German to "Keep Left!"). He only tried to turn into the wrong lane a couple of times. The hardest thing to get used to was the location of the signal lights (they're on the right, rather than the left) - he kept hitting the windshield wipers instead!

We attended a school fete (pronounced "fate") at Kojonup School today. It's an event that is held every two years to raise money for the school. There was everything from book and bake sales to games for the kids and silent auctions. The weather was gorgeous and the whole community turned out to participate. I ate the biggest hamburger I've ever seen. I thought American portions were generous!
