We are now in Dundee, Scotland staying with our good kiwi friend Mike Pratt for a few days.  Was an interesting start to the day with having a 0630hr flight, we had to catch the Gatwick express at 0430hrs from Victoria in order to have plenty of time to get through tough security (everyone leaving/entering the country now requires a photo to be taken when going through customs).  The fact that Hayden had been out the night before with Scott for a few 'quiets' and arrived back at the flat at 0130 made it an even harder task to be organised for an 0330hr start!!  Will he ever learn.....

After we arrived in Edinburgh we caught a bus to the train station (by this stage in the journey Hayden was ready to run to the nearest toilet).  After an hr train ride we arrived to a beautiful summers day in Dundee and were greeted by Mike who drove us to his apartment.  Had a bite to eat for lunch then Mike took us for a drive out to Broughty Ferry just out of Dundee where we had a walk around the castle and found a place to get some gelatos.  Went up Laws Hill and got a great view of the city then parked back at Mikes and walked to a pub with nice garden bar for a few beers, Hayden struggled through his one.

Tonight we had a curry for dinner and the boys are having a serious game of Gears of War on the XBox 360.  Mike has booked a round of golf at St Andrews tomorrow morning, I'm going to have a wander around the shops while the boys do that and then we will find a pub to watch the ABs vs Italy.

GO THE ALL BLACKS!!
