Welcome!
In four days, we're leaving on what should be the adventure of a lifetime. In the midst of the packing and last minute planning, the purpose of this entry is to give you a little update and overview of what we're planning to do.
As you may know, we're planning to travel for quite a while --around 10 months is our current thought. Our first plan is to head to Michigan. We need to deposit our stuff somewhere, so Ferrysburg it is. While in Michigan, we'll be heading up to Cadillac and Sleeping Bear Dunes for a few days. After that, it's a family road trip, all the way out to Colorado where my brother and his girlfriend just bought a house. So we'll spend a week hanging out and perhaps painting, before we leave my family and head down to Texas. Two baseball games -- in Texas, in August -- and then we're on our way to Mexico City. We'll stick around there until the US-Mexico World Cup Qualifying match, then continue our journey down through Mexico, into Central America, and eventually across to South America.
We'll try to keep this updated as often as we can with any interesting pictures or stories from the road. Feel free to leave comments, or send us an email from time to time. Better yet -- feel free to come visit us somewhere along the way!
