Lauren, Stefan and I woke up at half 5 to see the sunrise as the sunset was truly amazing last night, but I didn't have my camera with me! Unfortunately this morning it was too cloudy so we just saw the nice red colours of the sky and then we went back to the hammocks to snooze. After breakfast, we boarded the open air truck again for a windy, yet short, drive to our bus which took us to Bonito.

We stopped once on the way for some lunch- Brazil's version of a service station I presumed. Really clean, even with a pond and massive fish and turtles swimming around! Crazy system, you take a card in when you enter and pay for everything using that, and then when you leave you pay for everything on that card. Effective system, I'm not sure what it achieves though... nice service station though! I had a traditional Brazillian deep fried potatoe/chicken/peas thing- really nice and really filling. Soon to find out that they are sold all over Brazil!

We then arrived in Bonito and just chilled out for a bit in the really nice hostel, which had a couple of hammocks here and there and a really social "lobby" area, where we all just sat around and chilled. We then went for a walk around the town and had the nicest dinner ever! In Brazil they do "2 person" dishes, so I shared with Aisling and we had a Milanesa with rice and chips- yum, it was delicious and plus a drink was dead cheap and there was so much! Amazing! We all had such a laugh that night, and the waiter was so cute, and he had the chubbiest cheeks so we were all teasing him- all good fun!

We then went to this 24 hour Ice cream shop- words cannot describe how amazed we all were, there were loads down the main street and its self service so you choose your tub, flavour ice cream, sprinkles, sauces etc and then you weigh it. The number of flavours they had was ridiculous and some of the flavours they had were crazy fruits that I had never even heard of! Really nice, if only they had these in England/ if only England was hot enough to have these shops!

We then stumbled upon this bar where there was a band playing on the street which was amazing! So the majority of us decided to sit down, get some drinks and enjoy the live music.
The Swedes and Sebastian went home and the rest of us sat at a table and got Caprinhias. The drink of Brazil- usually I don't really like this drink, but taking everything in, I loved it. Aoife and I then decided to go up and be the first ones at the bar to dance and I did my best Ben Stiller salsa impression (from the film Along Came Polly,) they all loved it! LOVE Salsa music! Then Aoife did a headstand in the middle of the pavement- which was both absolutely mental and hilarious.

Things just got better and better from this point, Aoife then started dancing with Jimmy Hendrix- the hobo who was selling jewellery to us earlier hahaha the pictures are hilarious. Aisling started talking to "Sexy Jesus" and was with him the whole night and we met these Brazilian girls who joined us dancing and were really cool. Somehow, I then joined the band, they were so SO cool, and I stayed with them the whole night it was amazing! I had blisters in the morning, after putting in so much effort! I was loving it! I played the marraccas, the tambourine and the triangle! The music just took over completely and I couldn't have had more fun! The drummer took a bit of a fancying and we had so much fun just jamming away and making music, they were actually a really good band, I just added a little bit of spice! Haha! Then this random man with no hidden agenda, game me 20 Reales as a reward for my efforts, to get myself a drink! I didn't see him after that, so he was just being genuinely nice! It was an absolutely amazing night with blisters to show!
