Finally had a nice lie in until half 9/10 am and then we started to get all of our things together ready to check out! Once we had stored our luggage away and had some cereal for breakfast poolside, we left the hotel and explored International Drive.

Our first stop was to a surf shop where we got chatting to a couple of people outside who gave us free sweets and board stickers which was cool. Then I came away with 3 Billabong tshirts for $30 dollars... bargain! This spending routine continued throughout the day, and unfortunately, throughout my trip to the States! A pair of $40 Converse trainers were next on the list which was basically half the price I'd pay in England, I finally got my hands on some low white, with red lining, Converse- Nice!

The outlets were incredible, especially the Adidas outlet! Anyone who knows me, knows that I am loyal to Nike, in everything sportswear: shoes, boots, shorts, tshirts, hoodies, everything! However this outlet was too good to ignore! I literally went mental. I went up to the till 4 times overall, as I just kept finding more and more things to splurge on! My purchases included a big red sports bag (a much needed extra case to hold all of my new goodies,) 2 basketball shorts, 3 basketball tshirts (some were as cheap as $10 each, how could I resist!!) I made excuses to make all my spending seem acceptable- buy a basketball tshirt representing each City I was going to visit this trip- Orlando Magic, LA Lakers, Chicago Bulls, Miami Heat etc etc... crazy. I then found a black Miami Heat Zip-up Hoodie which looked so cool and comfy! I could picture myself in it, definitely! However, the price tag said $40 and after spending so much already, I was really debating it, seen as Miami Heat isn't even the team I support... but $40 is so good for a legit Adidas NBA Hoodie! So I finally decided to buy it and then it came up on the til as $20- AMAZING. I was so happy! A bit too happy.

We then took a visit to the Flea market which was hilarious, little market stalls, and I spent a ridiculous amount $50+ on these little flags, of everywhere I've been in the world by myself. I then liked them so much that I went back and bought more flags of the countries I've EVER visited. Stupid girl!

After a good day of exploring the surroundings of International Drive, Orlando, it was then time to catch our heavily anticipated bus "The Florida Express" to Miami! Amazing value- $25!

Sat next to Shell on the way, a pretty good journey for a coach and then I tried to catch some sleep in some interesting positions as usual, with my head on her lap and feet half way up the window... We arrived around midnight at the South Beach Hostel which was amazing, full of young people, half of them wearing various Camp tshirts/hoodies! South Beach Hostel in Miami was the place to be apparently! Once in reception we bumped into Colin, Alex and Emily from our own camp which was awesome to chill with them!

Our first stay at a hostel and we were staying in the smallest room ever, 3 bunk beds for 6 people and I swear it was smaller than a lower class Titanic cabin! All good fun though, and I was top bunk above a Spanish girl, as was Shell, because they had arrived before us and stupidly didn't share a bunkbed...!? Anyway, good night walking along the beach and down the main street with everyone and Colin, Alex and Emily!

Free breakfast was ready for us when we awoke and then we hit the streets of Miami. Beautiful weather and we wandered around all of the shops. It was hilarious, Shell and I kept wandering into all of the "tacky" holiday shops which were on every street corner, and Shell would want to walk in and Jodie and Steph were having none of it- hilarious! We must have walked into around 20 different shops, each selling the exact same things! In one of them we bumped into Nina, another girl from Camp- Crazy!! Small world!

We then had a sudden impulse as we walked past a rental shop, and decided to rent out 4 scooters- YEAH BUDDY! None of us had ever driven a scooter or a motorbike, or anything like that before, so it was pretty hilarious when we were all set up ready to go on the back street. We were out in the back street waiting for Shell, of course, and Jodie had taken her scooter for a little ride up and down the back street while we waited, and suddenly Steph and I heard these MASSIVE bangs and metal clanks, then looked round to see no sign of Jodie and we immediately thought that she had completely wiped out, it sounded so bad! Luckily she managed to save the bike and herself and stay on it as she rammed into a metal fencing trying to avoid the cars. LOL, thank god she was ok! I don't know how she managed to brave driving it again because it was such a bad crash, but she did and we had an awesome time driving around the streets of Miami- I'm in Miami bitch!

We zoomed all over Miami, not having a clue on where we were going and/or how to drive the scooters! We managed to just about find somewhere to park when we wanted to explore another part of the City we hadn't yet seen. I loved driving the scooters, they were awesome, especially going full speed down some secluded roads and just screaming into the wind- yeaaaaah! So much fun! I did have one almost accident with them though... we went to fill up on petrol, and I didn't realise how little scooters needed, only 2 or 3 dollars to fill the tank, and so I somehow got distracted as the petrol reached capacity and overflowed all over the seat and bike. Tried to wipe it up as best we could, oops! We stopped off at a couple of places, the W hotel, which you hear in all of the rap songs, which was incredible, and various shops!

We almost headed out of the city onto the free way bridge but we luckily noticed just before the junction and so we performed some questionable manoeuvres to turn around. Near the end of our awesome day on the bikes, we stopped off at this really modern bar during happy hour to buy some really tasty cocktails- no ID worries yeoow!!

The next day Shell and I both woke up earlk and walked down to the beach in our swimmers around half 7 with the plan to have a nice swim in the sea before breakfast. We got there and South Beach was so beautiful and deserted with just the sea breeze and the sun for company. The sea was so blue and warm and we were about to jump straight in but then luckily we saw the big FO jellyfish all over the sea, completely lining the coast! Tried to avoid them as we walked up to thigh level depths but we were just surrounded, and they were HUGE, so we didn't risk it (cruise coming up) and so we just took a nice stroll up and down the beach, avoiding the big balls of jelly.

Time to say goodbye to Steph for the next couple of days as we took our free Shuttle bus to Miami port, about 30 minutes away from our hostel. Sad goodbye to Steph as we headed on our way to our massive Cruise Ship to the Bahamas!
