We chilled out when we got to Denver and went to see Captain America at a nearby cinema. It's good but seeing the trailer for next year's The Avengers was much better!

Dinner was supplied by Taco Bell and we finally went to bed exhausted and slept so much that we missed breakfast the next morning. Bummer. To make up for this we went for lunch at the greatest sandwich shop in the whole world.................. SNARF'S! Admittedly, we weren't really ssure of the credentials of the place, we just went to it for the name, but turns it out it is great. It was in the middle of a residential neighbourhood but it was mega busy. I had an italian baguette and stanzi had chicken salad and provolone. They were both delicious, so if ever you visit Denver make sure you make it a snarfy day!

We went into the city centre to have a look around and it's definitely one of the nicest cities we've seen. It reminded us of Boston but with a more modern look. It had a street full of shops much like we have back home (wierd for a country full of shopping malls). We also visited the Colorado Capitol Building which sits exactly one mile above sea level, giving Denver it's Mile High City nickname and also checked out Coors Field baseball ground which sits right by the city centre.
