We backtracked to Minehead to get off the mountain but then headed up onto the moor to Dunkery Beacon.  There is a small carpark beside the road that is pretty close to the top, so we took our picnic lunch from tesco up the hill acorss the heather to the top for a panoramic view as we ate our lunch.
