So, Ive done just that...Me, my camera and my new friend New York :)

I strolled the streets of Greenwich Village and took it all in.I don't think Ill ever forget what it feels like to be here. And if I do, Ive got the photos to remind me :)

I sat in Washington Square Park for a long time, which is phenomenal by the way.

Took the double decker bus downtown but to be honest that's not why I came here...I came here to do what I started out doing this morning....Wander and take pictures....stopping along the way to enjoy the scenery.

I past by ground zero but didn't have the energy to visit closer. I was so blown away at the thought of the image of those two towers going down. Even from a distance it was quite emotional.

Because I think of myself as an experienced subway rider now... I was able to find my way home to Greenwich Village :)
