Yes, through the magic of the Interstate Highway system we are home in Meadville, Pa.  A medical happening with my mother led us to cut our trip short by one week. We drove from Ft Collins, Co. to O'Fallon, Mo on Sunday, 8/5; slept 5 hrs in Donna's sister's driveway; and then drove from O'Fallon to Meadville on Monday arriving home about 8 PM EDT.  This trip is not recommended as a way to spend a weekend; but, we got it done.  Ironically, while traversing Illinois Monday morning I found out she was being released from the hospital back to the healthcare facility.  Oh, well.

However, the six weeks we were gone were great.  Our thanks to Fantasy Tours, our caravan staff, and our fellow travelers for making our Canadian Rockies Caravan a memorable experience.  Those mountains were one of the most beautiful mountain ranges we have ever seen and through the caravan experience we were able to thoroughly enjoy them.  We also were able to spend a day with a dear friend in Bozeman, Mt. and relive a portion of our honeymoon in Colorado from 44 years ago.  It was amazing to see how much that area of Colorado has mushroomed.

So now we get ready for the addition of two new grandsons to the family, another fishing trip for me to Ontario, another camping rally with friends at Starved Rock State Park in Illinois, and our annual trek to Nokomis, Florida; our winter home. Too bad we have nothing to do.

Best wishes to all,

Kerry & Donna Gonnam
