I have made it to "The Fallen"

I get up early and make my way to the reform school called Sword & Cross, which is in the novel "The Fallen"... It's a cool foggy morning and I feel like something is terribly wrong. I pull into the drive and all I see is this old worn out cemetery and this old looking church. When I try to knock on the door it is ajar so I open it slowly. By now I am a little nervous and thinking that this is not right. It looks like there was a major battle here and I believe a fire because I can smell smoke. I turn to leave and see a man walking towards me. I ask him where Luce is and he says she has disappeared along with some other students. I asked him what has happened here and he really could not tell me much. If you want to know what happened you will have to read “The Fallen” to find out. I decide it’s time for me to go and finish my summer traveling. I hop into my Jeep and head out to the airport to catch a plane to the Caribbean and visit Devon, a veterinarian who is taking care of a very special dog. I hear she has a dog that thinks like a human and his owner is doing some kind of undercover work. Devon becomes a target for the hitman who is after the dog. I will fill you in on the rest of the story next time.
