I ask Molly what was going on. She said there are no telephones, TV or anything for that matter.  I asked her if Neal was ok and just then Neal came into the room.  I suggested we should go out to town and see what's happening there.  We pile into my Jeep and proceed into town.  As we are driving we come upon a bunch of abandoned vehicles on the road.  We stopped at one and the doors were open but no one was inside.  Molly finds a doll sitting in the back seat.  She suggests we take it with us just in case we find the child that it belongs to.  We get into town and it is pitch black.  The rain is coming down by the bucket full.  We see a flickering light in the window at the bar so we pull up and go inside.  There are a couple of families in there and the usual drunks.  Everyone is scared to death.  Molly and I notice that there are some dogs also in the bar that are just sitting in the dark corner.  I set the doll on the bar and look around.   Molly decides to go outside and see if she can find anyone else.  I decide to follow her.  We are walking around and come across one of the town’s people that is sitting with his back to us.  We go up to him and he turns around and his face is gone and he is actually dead.  We look at each other and we decide something bad is going on.  We run back to the bar to tell the others.  That’s when I decided to tell Molly and Neal that it is time for me to go.  I suggest that if you want to find out what is going on in Black Lake then you better grab the book and read "The Taking" by Dean Koonze.

I like the mysterious ending, Kim!

Remember, I want the focus to be on you. What did you think about San Bernadino?
