So I drove that car as far as I could and at about 10:00 pm.  It was time to pull off the road and head for sleep.  I am planning on spending part of this trip sleeping in the car but, this is the cold winter of the north and that will have to wait for the Pacific and South.

The greater Youngstown area at night is kind of spooky. Gothic ghoul-like and dark.  I got off the exit and squirreled around for a hotel that looked OK. I think I drove in circles a few times before finding the Sleep Inn.

Rick the Inkeeper sheepishly informed me of the hotel's rate and I said "sure".  I then proceded to my car to get my stuff in so doing losing the two room keys he gave me so less than 5 minutes later I was seeking copies.

He was all too happy to make me some new keys.  I went up to the room which was wonderful.  I've never required much from my hotel rooms.  Sure there have been the nice ones with the posh gyms and the Gatorade on tap but, Sleep Inn was not that kind and it was fine with me.

I headed upstairs with my bottle of Bailey's and sipped, flipped and slept.

I woke up early.  Around 5:30 am.  And yes, for the second night in a row I wasn't sure where I was when I woke up.  A few minutes later I sussed it and all was well.  I had breakfast next to a dude with a lot of camo on.  Then his buddy came down a few minutes later.  Camo-ed out as well.  Hunters methinks.

Then it was off to Wal-Mart.  I left my shower kit at home and needed to buy a whole new set.  So off I went.  I got all the normal stuff, you know, curling irons, barretts,  Oil of Olay the whole bit. I got back to the hotel started writing these entries got showered and now I'm off to Cleveland for you guessed it.

Just curious if there's something you wanted to tell me.
I mean, the curling iron & barrettes have got me curious.
You can tell me; I accept you for who you are.
:-)

Dawn,

I am share-less.

That as they say in London was an "attempt at humour". Though I do appreciate the unconditionality.
